Madame Victoire Tomegah-Dogbé has been appointed Prime Minister of the Republic of Togo this Monday, September 28, 2020 by presidential decree

Mrs Tomegah-Dogbé has been a member of Government for more than ten (10) years, as Minister in charge of Youth.

This is the first time in the political history of Togo that a woman is occupying the position of Prime Minister.

Victoire Tomégah-Dogbé, 60 years old. replaces Dr. Komi Selom Klassou who resigned last Friday.

The Togolese State is now going to be led by a new government as a result of re-election of Faure Gnassingbé for his fourth term during the February 22 Presidential election, whose results are however still being contested by the opponent of the President, Dr Agbeyomé Kodjo.
